One of the biggest blocks OEMs run across when generating prototypes is lack of immediate access to high-quality materials. Zeus has an answer: A free-sampling program is being rolled out to all Zeus customers to provide tubing samples that typically arrive overnight and free of charge. Known as the Zeus Virtual Sample Locker (VSL), the service offers customers private online accounts through which they can select from a breadth of in-stock samples, free of charge, or they can request custom sizes.

“Zeus has always partnered with everyone from large OEM’s to solo entrepreneurs when it comes to delivering next generation prototypes,” said Product Development Sales Manager Travis Hauck. “This program was launched in response to requests from clients who wanted a fast and easy way to access the tubing samples they need to prototype ideas.”

The process is simple. Existing and prospective customers sign up online. After registration is confirmed, they are taken to an online portal where they can order samples free of charge. Users will typically receive the samples they’ve selected overnight.

The company also offers assistance or guidance from members of the Technical Z-Team, a group of leading polymer scientists, engineers, and technicians that offer customized consultations. “Our Z-Team consults are available via phone, e-mail, video conferencing or they’ll travel to you,” said Hauck. “When you combine the sampling program with the power of our experts, it just throws open the door on what’s possible.”

The VSL sampling program is available to Zeus customers in any of the many industries they serve including medical, aerospace, fiber optics, oil and gas and automotive.
