April 5, 2022 By Danielle Kirsh

endosmart chamfrEndosmart today announced it partnered with Chamfr to provide nitinol components for medical devices online.

Through the partnership, engineers can order selected nitinol braids, shape-set tubes and wires and grinder wires from Chamfr’s website.

“Chamfr is giving medical device engineers what they need to quickly drive innovation,” Endosmart CEO Bernd Vogel said in a news release. “We’re excited to cooperate with Chamfr allowing us to display Endosmart’s capabilities in processing nitinol. Same as all engineers, we love solving complex design challenges and our customers can rely on two decades of experience with this special material. Endosmart’s expertise in combining the technical and medical world, give engineers the edge in their development process.”

Endosmart processes nitinol and gives shape to complex nitinol structures, according to the company.

“When innovative buyers connect directly with innovative sellers, product development happens faster. That’s our goal at Chamfr – to give engineers an edge by accelerating their medical device development,” Chamfr CEO Julie Schulte said. “Continuously adding the products that they need to our marketplace supports that goal and we’re very excited to add Endosmart’s nitinol components to our offering.”
