Solo-Dex this week launched its Fascile continuous peripheral nerve block catheter.
The nerve block catheter’s creators designed it to manage pain before, during and after surgery. It activates the facile continuous nerve block catheter quickly and safely for common procedures like shoulder repair, hip and knee replacement and other general surgical procedures.
“Before the introduction of Solo-Dex Fascile, the use of continuous regional anesthesia has been limited to a small group. Fascile has been developed specifically for the ease-of-use market, which is up to 10 times larger than the current nerve catheter market,” CEO Steve Eror said in a news release.
According to Solo-Dex, regional anesthesia that is established and maintained by a small catheter can offer safe and effective pain management for days before, during and after a surgical procedure. Patients can recover more quickly and could be released for home recovery with a nerve block that could reduce the need for oral opioid painkillers.
