VitalPath today announced it appointed Andrew Holman as its new CEO.

Holman brings more than 28 years of medical device experience to the complex catheter solution company. He has held numerous leadership roles at contract manufacturers and OEMs. Most recently, he was the chief commercial officer at Prytime Medical Devices, where he helped bring a balloon catheter for the trauma space to market.

“Andrew’s catheter experience in both the OEM and contract manufacturing spaces will serve VitalPath extremely well,” Aliya Khaydarova, a VitalPath board member and managing principal at Inverness Graham, said in a news release. “Andrew brings the kind of customer-first mentality that will benefit VitalPath customers immensely. The combination of this customer-centric leadership and our leading engineering, design-center, and manufacturing capabilities will facilitate expansion with current and new customers.”

Holman has also served as chief commercial officer at Integer and in numerous leadership roles at OEMs, including Smith+Nephew, Johnson & Johnson and Boston Scientific.

“I’m honored and excited to take the helm at VitalPath,” Holman said in a news release. “I’ve had the opportunity to spend time at each of our four facilities, and I’m impressed with both the level of technical expertise in developing complex catheters and the level of commitment to meeting customer needs that I’ve seen across the board. I’m proud to be joining this team and look forward to working with everyone to guide our customers through their complex catheter projects, from start to finish.”
