Plastics and silicones contract manufacturer GW Plastics has invested $25 million into expansions and technology — growing in recent years into a more than 1,000-employee company with eight worldwide facilities comprising more than 500,000 square feet.
The expansion, with the Bethel, Vt.–based company detailed in a recent news release, has included major expansions of its Vermont, Arizona, Texas, and China facilities and purchase of Irish mold-making company Avenue Mould Solutions.
The company has meanwhile enjoyed 52.4% growth over five years.
GW Plastics’ healthcare manufacturing business has grown at such a rapid rate that the company is looking at further expansions in 2019 in the U.S., Ireland and Mexico for its thermoplastic and silicone molding and contract manufacturing business.
“GW Plastics has implemented a deliberate and strategic growth strategy. Our company has enjoyed ongoing year-over-year record revenue, and we are committed to supporting this growth by continuing to invest for our customers, worldwide,” said GW Plastics CEO Brenan Riehl.
