The 75,600-ft² building is home to CathX Medical, which Zeus acquired 2021. The facility has advanced R&D lab and cleanroom space for designing, developing and validating medical catheter prototypes. The facility’s capabilities include laser cutting, ablation, and welding.
Zeus said the facility will have more than 100 employees.
“Establishing a presence in Minnesota will create opportunities for innovation and partnership with our current OEM and medical device customers. It will also open doors for new relationships,” Zeus President and CEO Steve Peterson said in a news release. “As we continue expanding globally, we are honored to now be part of this medically advanced region.”Orangeburg, South Carolina-based Zeus also donated $20,000 to Children’s Minnesota.
“Every day, our nonprofit pediatric health care system sees the vital impact donations like this have on caring for our patient families. We are grateful for this generous gift,” Children’s Minnesota Foundation President and Chief Development Officer Jennifer Soderholm said in the release.
In addition to the Arden Hills location, Zeus has more than 2,200 employees across facilities in Aiken, Columbia, Gaston, Orangeburg and St. Matthews, South Carolina; Branchburg, New Jersey; Chattanooga, Tennessee; San Jose, California; Guangzhou, China; and Letterkenny, Ireland.
