Teleflex (NYSE:TFX) announced today that it released its Arrow ErgoPack complete kits with hemodialysis and large-bore catheters in the U.S.
Wayne, Pennsylvania-based Teleflex launched this update to streamline insertion workflow for clinicians. The company also says it provides more options to suit their particular needs.
Clinicians can now select between Arrowg+ard Blue hemodialysis or large bore lines in the expanded kit configuration. It features a variety of French sizes, lumens and lengths.
Teleflex said its Arrow ErgoPack expansion includes a variety of clinician-inspired updates. Its Arrow GlideWheel Advancer provides tactile feedback and finer control, according to a news release. The pack also features a kink-resistant nitinol guidewire.
Additionally, the Arrow ErgoPack includes a transducer cover to support ultrasound use and pre-filled sterile saline syringes. It’s also got extra ChloraPrep skin prep in each kit and options of a number of 3M dressings.
“Max barrier kits like the Arrow ErgoPack complete system provide clinicians with the necessary components they need for their acute hemodialysis and large bore insertions. The intuitive configuration is designed to optimize their workflow, while also meeting the recommendations of CDC, SHEA, INS, and OSHA guidelines,” said Lisa Kudlacz, Teleflex president and GM of vascular access. “Coupling these benefits along with the protection from Arrowg+ard Blue catheters helps clinicians fight against central line-associated bloodstream infections, protecting their patients and improving their procedures.”
