Zeiss at MD&M East plans to show off powerful digital and stereo microscopes that the company claims are ideal for medical manufacturing quality control and assurance applications.

The Zeiss Smartzoom 5 is easy to set up and fully automated – with dedicated quality assurance and quality control component – so that even untrained users can still produce results. The Smartzoom 5 includes a macro recording mode to allow for repeat sample analyses – aiding workflow.

The Zeiss Stemi 508 is a quality stereo microscope with mechanics and optics designed for the heavy workloads of industrial inspections. With apochromatic optics, Stemi 508 allows user to observe samples in rich detail, in sharp focus and free from distortion or color fringes, according to Zeiss (Oberkochen. Germany).

The Zeiss Smartproof 5 is an integrated widefield confocal microscope for surface analysis in quality assurance and quality control.
