Magnesium Elektron (Manchester, U.K.) will be at MD&M East to showcase its state-of-the-art biomedical material capabilities, including its new SynerMag alloy product. Magnesium Elektron’s SynerMag product enables medical devices to resorb at a steady rate. It is also osteoconductive; it promotes bone growth.

SynerMag is twice the strength of other bioresorbable materials, such as polymers, according to Magnesium Elektron. The strength makes it ideal for applications that are highly strenuous, such as bone repair.
